Meet Our Counselors
Andy Bittle is the pastor over counseling and discipleship at Living Waters Fellowship. Andy graduated from Mt. Pleasant Community High School in 1983. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 1987 from Iowa Wesleyan College. Andy has over 20 years of prison counseling experience and became an ACBC Certified Biblical Counselor in 2008. In 2011 he received his Masters Degree in Religion from Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. Andy has experience with a variety of issues and areas in counseling including anxiety, depression, marital and relationship, substance abuse, parenting, su***de and self harm and areas of sexual sin. He and his wife Julie have been married for 32 yrs. and have 2 grown children and have 3 grandchildren.
Josh Daggett is the lead pastor at Living Waters Fellowship in Des Moines, Iowa and has been the preaching pastor since the church was founded in 2008. He was born in Creston, Iowa in 1981 but spent most of his growing-up years in Winterset, Iowa. Josh graduated from Winterset High School in 2000. He earned his Bachelor’s degree (Pastoral Major, Greek Minor) from Faith Baptist Bible College in 2004 and earned his Master’s degree (Biblical Studies) from Faith Baptist Seminary in 2005. Josh and his wife, Danielle, have been married fourteen years and have four children. He has been an ABWE Board member since 2012 and has been an ACBC Certified Biblical Counselor since 2017.
Jackie Olson Leech has been married for 14 years to her husband Chris, and they live in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. She loves anything outdoors (except in the Iowa winters), golfing with Chris, and spending time with family and friends. She is a Chicago Cubs fan and loves cheering on the Drake Mens Basketball team. Jackie has worked almost 40 years serving persons with disabilities in a variety of settings and positions, and is a licensed Social Worker at the bachelor level. In 2013, Jackie completed her Master in Counseling at Drake University. Jackie has completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the ACBC training, as well as two ACBC Advanced Tracks. She is working on steps toward becoming an ACBC Certified Biblical Counselor.
Chelsea Smith has been married to her husband Jake for 10 years. They have lived all over the Des Moines area and the Chicago area for 3 years until the Lord brought them back to Iowa where they are now in Norwalk just outside of Des Moines. Chelsea enjoys hiking, swimming, gardening, and cooking. She has always enjoyed people. For many years she has desired to learn more about biblical counseling and how to use it help people where they are at in life. She has completed Track 1 of ACBC training and is working on track 2 in order to become an ACBC Certified Biblical Counselor.
