Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines is the oldest municipal golf course west of the Mississippi, and they are celebrating their 125th anniversary this year! Privately managed by C-Corporation with Nick Speck as the general manager, Waveland is so much more than just golf. Inside the clubhouse, you'll find Fat Joe’s Pizza. Whether you are grabbing a slice of pizza at the turn, getting a specialty pizza with your group after your round, or calling in an order to-go, there are many options to choose from. One of the pizza options is The Wave, which is made with Graziano Brothers Italian Sausage. If you aren’t in the mood for pizza, other options are still available, like a meatball sandwich, a sausage sandwich, or chicken strips. Waveland Golf Course is a great golf course that offers friendly service and an even better pizza that continues to draw in their customers!
