Grace Is Amazing

The brain is shaped and molded by everything that has been experienced. The past exists in our minds. All of our fears, insecurities and memories can control us if we do not give them over to God. He wants us free.
What do you choose to let your mind dwell upon? You can be mentally preoccupied with many things. 𝗧𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗻. When the mind is described as fleshy it is set on the things that gratify our corrupt nature. People do many things to be socially accepted. They remake their image in hopes for approval and applause. They can go to extremes and create images far from God's original design. There is a distortion of their identity. They let their imagination carry them away. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. Their significance does not exceed their own vision. They are limited by their own imagination.
Cast down every imagination that is against the knowledge of God. The Holy Spirit helps us to focus on Christ. Best to keep our minds fixed on what He has done. We must be brought under the subjection of the Father's care. The worst sinner may be saved and shaped into a vessel of mercy by God's own hands. 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. God designed us to 𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 . We are called to be Christ's companions. We are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 equal to Him. We come under 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆. There must be a 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 from self effort to trusting God and being brought into the beautiful life He offers 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙤𝙣. We can walk in our true identity and so do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Your members .... “If your hand or eye causes you to sin.”.... You can cut off your hand, gouge out your eye, cut off your tongue, and cut off all contact and you will find that sin is still there.𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲. Only God can shape us into the vessels He intends us to be. Have no confidence in the flesh. We are simply God's vessels in which 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀. The Spirit of Wisdom is God's thoughts about us. Vessels of mercy carry the Divine Love of God in the heart and mind. In our misery, we seek God's greatness and then minister the gift of Life. All we would have is our sins but God wiped them out. The Holy Spirit empowers us to proclaim life saving Truth. It is spiritual adultery to go back to relying on the old nature for acceptance.

God judged Egypt and found them guilty of many wrongs against the children of Israel and for their resistance to God's prophet Moses. The judgement resulted in plagues and ultimately losing their firstborn children as punishment for their evil and their lack of faith in the true God.

When God judged Egypt, the angel of death passed over the homes with blood on the door posts. The goodness, or rather the holiness, of the people inside the house didn't matter. The Lord judged the blood, not the people inside. Right?

When God looks at us to judge us, he looks for the blood. We are covered and washed clean in the blood of Jesus. He doesn’t look at us to judge us. He looks at the blood of his own son, and the sacrifice is perfect.

Walk in faith believing that you are forgiven and sealed for redemption by the blood of Christ. Don't let those bound up in legalism share their misery with you by accusing you of just wanting to be bad without consequences and condemning you as a carnal Christian. They are so focused on sin. It's really quite twisted.

Our focus is not on sin. Our focus is on our Savior. Our hope and faith is in him -- not ourselves.

Romans 14:23 NKJV
But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗻.

Don't let the unbelieving doubts of legalistic people muddle up your conscience. Your are sanctified and sealed by the Holy Spirit!
