Meet Sarah Edmonds, our newest artist! Sarah is an illustrator and designer living and working in the UK. Sarah spent her childhood adventuring around farmyards and forests, the natural world feeding her imagination until it burst! Inspired by mid-century children's books, wild birds and gardening, she loves a good pun.

Her collection of illustrated greeting cards and tea towels feature bird charts of "T**s," "Bo***es," "Peckers," "Ho***rs" (and so on!). Her creative process always begins with crayons, pens and paper, and she blends bright colors with wonky shapes to add character and warmth to each illustration.

Of her work, she says: "I love to make people giggle and embrace their mischievous side."

I wanted to find a wild bird seed company that checked all the same company values, aligned with our mission, and was non-GMO and grown in the USA. Thrilled to have found , and proud to offer them in our store! The Woodpecker Gourmet could be mistaken for trail mix it’s so full of almonds and fruits (so be careful if you’re headed for a hike!☺️). Artisan bird sighting in lovely Sedona! I wish I had caught the name of the artist behind this piece but we were hurting off to a hike. His high tops say it all.
