Here are some thoughts from my bible Study this morning :-)

Why is it so important to keep yourself from believing a lie? Simply put, wrong believing leads to wrong decision making. If you think and believe the wrong thing in your heart and mind it will be impossible for you to make the right choices. Wrong choices lead to destruction.

Give yourself this quick test to see if you are believing right or wrong. What does the Word of God say? Are your actions in line with the word of God? Jesus is the word made flesh, He was the living Word. The bible says Jesus is our example in all things. God has called us to live our lives like Christ. If Jesus would do it, we should do it too. If Jesus would not do it, we should not do it either.

Jesus embodies: Love, truth, grace, mercy, forgiveness, His mercies are brand new every morning, Jesus always brings healing and restoration. Satan always brings brokenness and destruction. Let the fruit of your actions bring healing and restoration rather than brokenness and destruction.

"See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the traditions of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ" Colossians 2:8

Everything we think, say, and do should be "according to Christ" after all are we not all called to be His, hands and feet? Are we not His body in the earth? let's make sure we are not roaming around like the headless horse man. Let's make Jesus our head. Let's make Jesus our Lord, not only in word but also in deed.
