As our rural communities continue to face maternal care deserts, CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs announced plans to end labor & delivery services at the end of August.

This is just the latest in a string of hospital and clinic closures in the wake of Iowa Republicans in Washington voting for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history.
