Concept to completion: The art of purchasing infill lots.

Many people have come to me and inquired about purchasing lots to build houses on. Well here are some quick things to remember when purchasing lots.

1. Build Project: Have an idea of what you want to build. This is key to choosing the right lot. Not all lots are the same.
2. Size matters: 🤷🏽‍♂️The size of the lot will determine the size of the build and resale value.
3. Have pipes been laid: 😃 Make sure the lot has water, sewer. This lowers the cost of having to have them put in. Also check for electric.
4. Is it too bushy? 😬 What is it going to take to clear the lot? The more vegetation, the more costly.
5. Zoning: What are the city zoning requirements for that particular lot. This ties in to build size because each city has a certain number for setbacks, easements, etc.
6. Do you have to pay for it?: 🤔Does the cost of the lot fit into your bottom line? Don't overpay I'd you don't have to. There are tons of lots to choose from.

This does not cover every detail of buying a lot but these are a few of the important aspects you should always keep in kind.
