Jimmy Hart with DNA Shark Charters had an incredible privilege of encountering and catching a Great White Shark — a species that many shark enthusiasts hope to see just once in their lifetime. Encounters like these in our area has always been considered rare, but we’re starting to see them become more prevalent along our Florida’s Panhandle waters. What makes it even cooler? Parts of the legendary shark movie Jaws were filmed right here in this region, and we’re proud to call these waters home. Every trip reminds us how special and wild our local ecosystem truly is.
