Gear matters... but vision matters more. Thoughts? Because the truth is... any camera is good. Old, new, digital, analog. Even a cell phone camera. Just gotta take responsibility to know its limits and bring the skills and experience to the table. You work within the bounds of your gear. And let’s just make it clear: I agree that gear informs how you approach your creative decisions. But the most important decision is coming up with the vision for the desired output. If your vision is too big, it’s your responsibility as the photographer/creator/artist to know to get the adequate gear that can handle it, level up your skills to create with lesser gear OR adjust your ex*****on of that vision to fit the limitations of your equipment, resources, or skillset.
