IMSA GTP steering wheel explained 🏁
Ever wondered what all those buttons, switches, and screens do on an GTP steering wheel?
After talking with , here’s what I learned about how prototype drivers control power delivery, braking, traction, and strategy — all from the wheel while racing at 200+ mph.
From energy deployment to driver adjustments mid-stint, the GTP steering wheel is basically a flying control panel. And yes — drivers memorize every function.
