Kresge invests $180M in neighborhoods and plans new HQ in Detroit Over the next five years, Kresge is investing more than $180 million in the Fitzgerald, Bagley, University District, and Martin Park neighborhoods- Live6 Alliance..

These investments will focus on:
Housing stabilization and home ownership: Including resources for home ownership, home maintenance, critical repairs, accessibility improvements and wealth building.

Commercial corridor revitalization: Including support to small businesses on the McNichols commercial corridor for interior and façade improvements and for marketing support.

Public spaces enhancement: Transforming empty spaces into community assets through vacant land stewardship, beautification, and side lot activation; completing the Ella Fitzgerald Greenway and making enhancements at Ella Fitzgerald Park.

Financial support to residents and businesses: Including property tax relief and rental assistance.
