Question of the day: Where did you have your 1st legal drink?

Jackie had her 1st legal drink at The Two Way Inn in 1973. She was 18 years old. Last night she stopped in from California with her beautiful family to reminisce. She signed our travelers log and left with some stickers.

So to answer the question, I had my first legal drink at Cloverleaf on Gratiot. It was a top shelf Long Island and Mike was the bartender ~Danielle

1st illegal drink was a bottle of wine for my 16th birthday in Greektown. It really was a different time.

100 years ago, Model T's rolled down Mount Elliott Street, the building to the left has a banner that reads 'ICE CREAM.' The sign above the bar door to the right displays the words 'GROCERY and SALOON.' PHILLIP VANNECK's name stands out on the awning as the Norris Line track runs down the center of the road. While the world outside has undergone significant changes, the interior of this establishment remains a remarkable link to the past.
