WCCCD’s School of Continuing Education presents United in Freedom: Embracing and Honoring Individuality on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Mary Ellen Stempfle University Center in Harper Woods.

This workshop celebrates and educates the community on the history and origin of Juneteenth.

WCCCD's School of Continuing Education in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary present Boat America: Boating Certificate Seminar on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the WCCCD Ted Scott Campus in Belleville.

Boat America is an in-depth and engaging boating certificate class that provides the knowledge needed to obtain a boating certificate. Some insurance companies will also offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete this course.

The certificate class is open to the public at no cost. The class is open for those ages 13 years and up. If under 18 years old, a guardian must be present.

Registration is required with limited availability.
