🎉Gordy’s Adopted🎉
If you’ve ever owned a German Shepherd, you know what incredible companions they are.

This handsome boy, now known as Gordy, came to Make A Difference Rescue from Animal Control. He was heartworm positive, and like so many wonderful dogs, no one ever came looking for him.

The moment Gordy arrived, we called one of our foster moms—and I truly believe it was love at first sight.

From day one, Gordy proved what an extraordinary dog he is. Gentle, well-mannered, loyal, and so eager to love, it’s hard to imagine how this amazing boy ever found himself homeless.

Gordy quickly became part of his foster mom’s family. He enjoyed trips to the cottage, visited her mom at the senior home, and even marched in the Fourth of July parade! It made the day even more special because his foster mom was honored as Huntington Woods Citizen of the Year, and Gordy proudly celebrated right alongside her.

Now Gordy has found his forever home, where he will be cherished every single day. His new mom loves him so much that she’s already adding new fencing to the yard to make it even safer for him.

He will never have to wonder where he’ll sleep, whether he’ll be loved, or if he’ll ever end up at Animal Control again.

Some dogs wait a little longer for their happy ending, but when it comes, it is worth every moment.

Congratulations, sweet Gordy. You have found the family you were always meant to have. We couldn’t be happier for you. Enjoy every adventure that lies ahead—we love you forever.
