Facial controls bring your character rig to life — from blinking to eyebrow movement and subtle emotion shifts. In this clip from Part 3: Facial Controls in Moho Pro 14, I explain why these controls are a must if you want expressive, dynamic animations.
🎨 Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your rigging game, this step will make your characters act, not just move.
🧠 Smart bones = smooth joints.
This the cleanup phase where I test all the bends — arms, legs, torso — and fix anything off with Smart Bones.
💡 If it bends weird, I correct it.
🔧 If it glitches, I patch it up.
🎯 If it ain’t smooth, I don’t move on.
This is that “rig like a pro” step that separates the amateurs from the animators.

🧠 Binding bones like a pro 💀
You got your skeleton, now what? Gotta attach them layers so your rig can actually MOVE.
💥 Here’s my method:
— Flexi-bind for limbs + body
— Layer-bind the head
— Point-bind the hips for that solid lower torso flex 🔧
No guesswork, just what WORKS.
🌀 Watch how the setup connects smooth and tight.

🚨 The rigging begins!
This is where the real work starts — laying down that skeleton so your character can MOVE. I always kick things off from the root bone, working my way up through the body, locking in structure and flow. No fluff, just what works 💪🏾
🎯 Not step-by-step, but definitely game-changing if you're trying to rig in Moho like a pro.
