Zoning reform isn’t just a policy debate: it’s a human rights issue. When land-use innovation creates more affordable units, it provides the housing security necessary for emotional wholeness. For many women, especially Black women navigating systemic barriers, the lack of inventory isn't a personal failure; it's a systemic design flaw.
