Create A Bright Life Detroit Chapter

Hello everyone 🍂
We'll be doing some volunteer work on Saturday from 10am-1pm at Detroit Abloom

On Sunday, August 18th, we took care of our homeless friends between the rainstorms at Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) at Mack and Gratiot in Detroit. We always make sure they get a hot, yummy meal of mostaccioli with all the fixings: salad, dressings, water, juice, fruit snacks and special rice Krispy treats. 💜

Yesterday we had the most awesome volunteers to help us feed our friends a hot and yummy lunch at Detroit Rescue Mission Oasis Shelter. And all the extra food supplies. Plus we had 2 fabulous ladies from 1 mother 2 another non-profit organization help us yesterday as well.

One of the plot farmers gave me some extra produce on Saturday: beautiful tomatoes, beans and Swiss Chard. Plus our harvest of collard greens: about 40+ pounds total.

We have been so blessed this year with volunteers and the ability to grow produce for our homeless friends in Detroit.
