Finally some big names are starting to see what we here have known for a while. Captain Kyle is the real deal. You want education while you’re fishing? Do you want to understand the area, its culture, its traditions, and its unique place in Michigan? Do you want to catch amazing fish in an absolutely beautiful and serene environment? Young Buck charters.
Our partnership with Young Buck Fishing Charters is personal. This is hometown water and a captain we know puts his guests on fish trip after trip.
Young Buck is a multi-species guide operation run out of Sault Ste. Marie, in the heart of the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Captain Kyle Bricco has patrolled these waters since he was a kid, chasing walleye, lake trout, salmon, perch, whitefish, and whatever else is biting across the St. Marys River and the big three: Superior, Michigan, and Huron. We pair Kyle’s reputation on the water with the systems to put Young Buck in front of every angler heading to the EUP.
The best guides in the Upper Peninsula shouldn’t be the area’s best-kept secret. When a captain works this hard to deliver the trip of a lifetime, the brand behind him should reach just as far. Proud to help a hometown name fill the boat.

Everyone is helping in their own way. 🎶it’s the circle. The circle of liiiiiife🎶
I met a girl who rescues raccoons, rehabs them, and then releases them about a half mile from my mom’s farm where she has chickens. I was out to dinner with my wife and a group of people, and the girl started explaining that everybody in the area knows her as the raccoon rescue person. If a raccoon is trapped, hurt, or orphaned, people call her. She takes them home, rehabs them, and releases them on a little piece of public land. So naturally, I asked where she releases them. Turns out it is right next to my mom’s house.
That is when my eyes got big and I started smiling, because me and my brothers are constantly at my mom’s farm trapping raccoons that are killing her chickens. I was just about to say, “That’s funny, because I think I know where some of your raccoons are ending up,” when my wife grabbed me under the table, gave me one of the nastiest looks I have ever received, and whispered, “Shut up.” As far as I know, she is still saving raccoons, releasing them by my mom’s farm, and we are still over there catching raccoons that are trying to eat chickens. It might be the most awkward wildlife-management circle of life I have ever been involved in.
