Effective Monday, June 8th at 12:01am, ODF has declared fire season in effect. With conditions continuing to dry out and temperatures rising, the fire danger threat is increasing. Please be aware of these changes and how it may affect you.
As we look ahead to what could be a very long and active wildfire season, we appreciate your help in keeping the threat of fire down and our community safe.

Dexter Fire would like to thank Bi-Mart of Springfield for their generous donation of bottled water. The water will support our responders during emergency calls, wildfire responses and outside training ensuring proper hydration at all times. Having a healthy and well hydrated crew is vital to keeping our community safe, our responders safe and ready for the next calm for service.
This vital support of small rural fire districts is essential for our continued support of our local and regional communities.
