Firefighter/Medic of the Week: SCOTT RUNZO

Scott joined the department shortly after he moved to Dillingham in 2020 and now works full-time as the Fire Department Coordinator. His versatility and long list of credentials make him the perfect fit for this high-paced position!

Scott's background includes working with adults and youth, firefighting, maintenance, and pretty much anything you can think of - he has probably done it! He recently became a grandpa, is an avid baker of all things but sourdough bread is his specialty, he fishes any chance he can get, is the department photographer, and polishes rocks in his spare time. Talk about busy!

Amazing guessing this week but no winners!

This week's Firefighter/Medic of the week is: ANTHONY REYNOLDS

Tony has been with the department since 2022 working in the ambulance and on fires, pulling double duty all year long! While volunteering with us is his passion, in his real job he works for the City as the Assistant Finance Director - a firefighter and he's extra smart!

Tony is our tallest and most flexible member making him perfect for the complicated situations that need extra attention and maneuverability. He clearly loves ice cream (22 bowls!), is world traveler, and is a complete gentlemen day in and out. Tony has a great sense of humor, is always willing to help, and never complains when we ask for a little more!

Thank you for everything you do, Tony! We appreciate you!

Can you believe we've been playing Firefighter/Medic of the week for 2 months! There is a hard one to guess this week but they're totally worth it!
