Yes, I do sell a lot of pound cakes. I believe the reason is two fold,
1. I have combined two recipes from the greatest bakers I’ve ever known (my grandmother and Justins grandmother) using whole, simple, fresh ingredients.
2. Pound cake is SO versatile! It can be a classic dessert or brunch with strawberries and whipped cream, it can be toasted for breakfast, it makes the best French toast, it can be elevated with a grill and a smear of bourbon butter sauce with grilled peaches (or balsamic pineapple instead of bourbon) and homemade ice cream topped with fresh whipped cream and pecans … the possibilities are endless

If y’all haven’t tried Sweet baby cakes in Amarillo, your missing out! I walked in and the whole place smelled amazing! Before I left I was prayed over and knew that it was an ordained stop for sure!
