It’s almost time to head back to school! To help your student start the year prepared, we’ve attached the 2026–2027 Central Middle School School Supply List.

Take a look and begin gathering the items your student will need for a successful school year. Being prepared on the first day helps set the stage for a great year of learning!

No appointment is needed—just stop by at a time that works best for your family!

During orientation, you’ll have the opportunity to:
📚 Meet your teachers
🏫 Become familiar with the school
❓ Get your questions answered
🎒 Get everything you need to be ready for an amazing school year!

Good Evening, Hornets. This is your principal, Matt Scott, calling with a quick update.

We will host an Athletic Information Night on Tuesday, July 21, here in our gym, beginning at 5:30. We want all potential athletes and their parents to attend, as we will discuss information about eligibility requirements, workouts, and many other important topics. Much of this information will apply to our athletics regardless of the season they are played. In other words, even if you just plan on playing a spring sport, and no other sport this year, you will still need this information. Please remember that there are several pieces to athletic eligibility, and we will go over all of them. Remember that 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students can play every sport, with the only exception being football, which only 7th and 8th graders may play.

Again, we will host an Athletic Information Night on Tuesday, July 21, here in our gym, beginning at 5:30. The information will be for any student interested in playing any sport during the entire 2026-2027 school year and their parents.

Please plan to park and enter the building in the back of the school. You can use either parking lot in the back of school. The front entrance is being waxed and will not be accessible.

That is the only announcement for tonight. I hope your summer is restful and relaxing, and I look forward to seeing all our hornet athletes and their families on Tuesday, July 21, here at CMS.

This meeting is for parents and students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who plan to participate in athletics during the upcoming school year.

We’ll cover important information, including:
✅ Sports physicals
✅ Athletic eligibility requirements
✅ DragonFly Max paperwork
✅ Athletic Boosters

📱 Be sure to bring your phone! You’ll have the opportunity to complete your student’s DragonFly Max paperwork during the meeting.
