While on travel to Seattle, Washington, I got the chance to capture some awesome footage of the very popular Space Needle @ Seattle Center with my DJI Mini 2. This astonishing landmark towers over the city at 605 feet tall and is a huge tourist attraction bringing in approximately 1.3 million guests per year, and nearly 60 million visitors have visited the tower since it opened. It officially opened to the public on April 21, 1962 for the Century 21 Exposition, a space age-themed world’s fair. The tower is 138 ft. wide, weighs 9,550 short tons, and is built to withstand winds of up to 200 mph and earthquakes of up to 9.0 magnitude.
