From another passage in Mark (Mark 2:21-22) comes a question about a parable of Jesus speaking of "new wine" and "old wineskins". We will look at the contexts of Mark along with Matthew and Luke to better understand what Jesus means in each of these accounts.

A couple ran across a couple verses in the ninth chapter of Mark than seemingly contradicted a similar passage in Luke's account of the Gospel. If these words of Jesus are actually contradictory, then Jesus could not have been speaking truth, since truth cannot contradict itself. Tonight we look at these verses and others which, at first glance and out of context, can appear to be contradictory. We explore these passages in addressing the question, "How can we know who is truly for Jesus and who is against Him?"
