Glad to get a page up and running. Thanks for setting it up Justin. Guess we should start posting what we are up to lol. Here's that pic of our wildlife encounter of the day. Another snake has relocated and another step to renovating the pond has been taken. Thanks for the help. See you tomorrow.

Here are some basic illustrations of how Bergquist pond was designed and how it functions. It's original purpose was to be a hands-on environment for many of the biology courses to study plant and animal life, ecological environments, water sampling, etc. After a tree fell and knocked a hole in the pond liner, it failed to hold it's maximum amount of water. Due to lack of funding, restoration of the pond was put on the back burner for several years. EAO has taken up the torch and put forth an effort to restore the pond to it's former glory. We hope to make improvements both functionally and aesthetically to the pond. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the project or are a current Troy University student and would like to join EAO, please email: [email protected] or comment on this post and someone will get back to you with info.
