Recently we were contacted by Ruth Briggs King, who organized a statewide emergency donation project for the people affected by Hurricane Helene. She has graciously offered to support the National Fraternal Order of Police's Disaster Area Response Team (DART) currently deployed across regions affected by Hurricane Helene. Because our DART team is made up of first responders and sworn officers, we can expeditiously access these disaster areas and effectively collaborate with local first responders without disrupting ongoing operations.
