Song-Köl, or "following lake," is an alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan's northern Naryn Region. It is located at an elevation of 3016 metres, has an area of around 270 km2, and a volume of 2.64 km3. The lake's maximum length is 29 kilometres, its breadth is around 18 kilometres, and its deepest point is 13.2 metres. It is Kyrgyzstan's second largest lake, after Issyk-Kul, and the country's largest fresh water lake.
The Song Kul valley contains various remnants of nomadic life from former times. East of the lake, there are ancient petroglyphs and circular stone settings that resemble those seen in Mongolia and the Altai region. Around the lake, there are several various sized burial mounds.
Uzbek art has a long history dating back a millennia. The republican age of antiquity was defined by the blossoming of buildings, monumental paintings, sculptures, and jewellery art. Only a few countries in the world have a more extensive art history than Uzbekistan. Entire cities have been embellished with beautiful mosaic tiles, complex ceiling murals, and towering monuments. Cities such as Khiva, which is often described as a "Living Museum City," or Bukhara's ancient town, which has been so beautifully preserved that it is like stepping into a time capsule, are examples of this. Finally, there is Samarkand, which has grand monuments created by the Timurid Empire, dotted all over the city.
Uzbekistan is a truly a country where Art comes "ALIVE"

Uplistsikhe Cave - Georgia
This once enormous cave city sits 10km east of Gori above the north side of the Mtkvari River. Between the 6th century BC and 1st century AD, Uplistsikhe developed into one of the chief political and religious centres of pre-Christian Kartli, with temples dedicated principally to the sun goddess. After the Arabs occupied Tbilisi in AD 645, Uplistsikhe became the residence of the Christian kings of Kartli and an important trade centre on a main caravan road from Asia to Europe.
