New ordinances effecting Airbnb and VRBO.

1. On call person for a unit must be local and available 24/7.
2. Oh call person must be able to arrive at unit within 1 hour.
3. Occupancy limits of 2/bedroom with children under 6 being an exception.

Milton Town Council has passed an ordinance that amends code on rentals to include a section on short-term rentals such as Airbnbs. Council intends to go further in its attempt to regulate short-term rentals by having the planning and zoning commission look at the zoning implications of short-term rentals; this first ordinance was viewed more as a licensing measure than zoning.
