Saphir Sailing

After 100 km on the saddle weve gotten to Senay, which is on the river Maas between Verdun and Sedan, two sites of huge historical impact in the two world wars. Passed by the Battle of the Bulge forests and felt spooked by the dead and confused about the parallels between Hi**er, because of whom so many died, and Trump, who is also a fascist, and who is taking the same path to power, unchecked. How….?

Our sailing season ended with an award from the Transocean-Verein - a German sailing community which includes Boris Hermann - for our sailing turn to Spitsbergen. The ceremony in Cuxhaven was so inspiring that we are even more impatient than usual for the next season to start. (We fly to our beloved Saphir April 29.)
