Orchard Street Cemetery

Some people visit the graves of loved ones once or twice a year. Others never come, because they’ve moved away or the family itself has died out.

On Memorial Day, many people come to lay wreaths, put up a flag, or plant flowers.

Just know that our nation’s bravest are not forgotten. Not just on this day - but every day.

Sent a story and photos to News12 tv, hoping to get some wider coverage of the recent vandalism. This is what we got …. Hoping some eagle eyed viewers caught the crawl!

The grass has not yet started to grow - and that’s a good thing! And no snow - doubly good as our snowblower is on the fritz 😞.

Cemetery looks good. Anxious for the warmth of Spring to push up the mums around the flagpole.
