💧 Volunteer Opportunity: Nanticoke Creekwatcher – Bridgeville 💧
Help protect local waterways with the Watershed Alliance! The Creekwatchers Program is seeking 1–2 volunteers to adopt two bridge monitoring sites in the Bridgeville area.
🗓 Ongoing (through Nov 2, 2026)
⏱ 2–3 hours every other Sunday or Monday
📍 Bridgeville area (best monitored Sunday mornings)
🚫 Waitlist currently open
🔬 What you’ll do:
• Monitor water quality at assigned sites
• Collect samples & drop off data
• Commit to the full monitoring season (late March–early November)
• Receive full training, equipment, and ongoing support
🌱 Why it matters:
Your data helps identify pollution sources, track trends, and supports scientific research and annual river report cards.

💙Village Volunteers is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to assist our Member Services Manager with coordinating recurring member services.
💚Responsibilities include contacting members and volunteers each month to confirm ongoing service needs and availability, updating information in our database, and communicating any changes.
💙This flexible volunteer opportunity requires approximately 6-8 hours during the third week of each month and plays an important role in helping older adults remain independent and connected to our community.
