I’ve been so blessed to be able to capture so many mamas and mamas to be in the last couple years. Thank you for letting me be apart of your motherhood journey🤎

We have a lot of new followers here, so let me reintroduce myself✨

Hi there! I’m McKaylah, owner, creator and photographer behind MZ Photography. I’m married to my high school sweetheart (5 years this year😱) and we have three beautiful children.

My first camera was gifted to me at the ripe age of 13. My mama always had a camera in hand growing up, and I wanted to be just like her. Picking it up here and there, but never truly taking the plunge into learning and creating. Fast forward to 2021, I’m newly married, and find out I’m having a baby girl… one month after being married. Mama upgrades her camera and gifts me my next upgrade. I start shooting again but very clearly need some education and growth. So that’s what I worked on. I photographed my children, took my camera on trips, shot around the farm.

Fast forward to today, my third baby is almost a year old now and I’m finally ready to take the plunge into taking myself seriously.

I have a love and passion for many things:
Jesus, motherhood, birth and babies, coffee, homesteading, and (newly) sewing. We are even taking the plunge into running a small farm stand this year. But I would say that this right here? This little business I named and created 2.5 years ago? This is where my creativity flows best outside of my main calling of motherhood.

To get to honor the Lord with photographing his creation, his people, his sons and his daughters for us to remember in our time on this earth? This is a passion I will continue to fight for. A passion that allows me to stay home with my babies all day, and get a creative kick and beautiful fellowship in the evenings and weekends.

I’m so excited for the growth of my business this next year, and I pray I get to meet many new faces along the way🤎

Every day they wait patiently. All day talking with each other about fishing with daddy when he gets home.

At the end of every day we do nightly affirmations and ask what their favorite part of the day was. Tonight? Fishing with daddy🫶🏼

So blessed and beyond thankful to get to work with all of these families. I love what I get to do, and am so excited for a year of growth and change within my business.
