It was a hot one last night, but not as hot as these girls! 🔥🥎

The 14U Dover Tornadoes battled through the heat and came away with a 7–3 win over Indian Valley. Proud of the energy, effort, and toughness they showed from start to finish.

🥎 Fall Ball Registration is Officially Open!

Dover Girls Youth Softball Fall Ball registration is open July 1–21.

Fall Ball is a great opportunity for players to keep growing, build confidence, get more game experience, and prepare for the next level in a lower-pressure season.

Season: Mid-August through early October
Cost: $50 per player
Jersey: Additional $50 only if your player did not play in the spring and needs a jersey

Game Schedule:
8U: Saturdays
10U–12U: Sundays
14U: TBD based on interest and league scheduling

Players will follow the 2027 USA Softball Age Chart. If your player will move up for the Spring 2027 season, she should register for that age group for fall.

Fall Ball is open to players who live in Dover or attend Dover City Schools.

This season will focus on development, confidence, game experience, and helping girls continue to grow in the game. Team placement and final age divisions will depend on registration numbers. If there is not enough interest at an age group, registration will be refunded.

Due to the extreme heat, we are moving our optional open practice to Friday, July 3 from 9:00–10:30 AM. This will allow us to still get quality work in while avoiding the hottest part of the day.

We will focus on mobility, throwing, catching, fielding, footwork, and confidence. We will take frequent water breaks and keep the session safe, positive, and productive.

Please bring a glove, fielding mask and plenty of water
