"Domine, quo vadis?"
While on their way to the Catacombs of St. Callixtus, the seminarians stopped to pray at the Church of Domine Quo Vadis (Santa Maria in Palmis), where, according to tradition, St. Peter met the Risen Christ.
Fleeing Rome to escape persecution, Peter asked Jesus, "Domine, quo vadis?" (Lord, where are you going?). Jesus replied, "I am going to Rome to be crucified again."
Inspired by Christ's answer, Peter turned around, returned to Rome, and bravely accepted his own martyrdom.

"The world looks to the priest, because it looks to Jesus! No one can see Christ; but everyone sees the priest, and through him they wish to catch a glimpse of the Lord! Immense is the grandeur of the Lord! Immense is the grandeur and dignity of the priest!" // St. John Paul II
