She captured exactly how it felt for me to finally feel F R E E. Free from shame. Free from guilt. I am not my body dysmorphia nor am I defined by my eating disorder. Every friggin body is a bikini body.

Recovery is an everyday battle. You are constantly choosing yourself. You have to find the strength in yourself to not go down that never ending hole of doubt and fear. I can honestly say I love myself now more than I ever have. I love every roll, every dimple, every beautiful curve.

Your body is a fu***ng work of art, sis. DISPLAY IT!

I spent so many years hiding myself, trying to make myself smaller. Trying to fit into a damn box that I wasn’t meant to be in the first place.
I had to destroy every image of what I thought I was supposed to be. I had to listen and surrender to myself. Self love is the hardest damn love, but giiiiirl if it isn’t the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

stop putting your life on hold for an outfit. Put the damn thing on & wear the hell out of it. I wish I would’ve worn a bikini a looooong time ago- but then again they didn’t really exist for plus size girls. So you bet your ass I’m going to make up for all that lost time.
