Breaking: Bucks County Government Appealing Bad Faith Ruling, Taking Local Mom To Commonwealth Court

In April, Judge Denise M. Bowman ruled that Bucks County Government acted in bad faith when they withheld public records from mom Megan Brock. Bucks County was ordered to pay a $1500 civil penalty.

Instead of paying the penalty, Bucks County Government, which is lead by Democrat Board Chair Bob Harvie, is utilizing additional taxpayer resources to appeal the decision in Commonwealth Court.

As inflation soars, we wonder how many taxpayer dollars has the county spent in legal fees to withhold public records and take private citizens to court?

Perhaps that money would have been better spent on programs that help students with pandemic learning lost?
