A United States Half dollar designed by Charles Barber at the Philadelphia mint. This design was in use from 1892 to 1916. The same design was used on the quarter dollar.

This is a Stock Certificate from the First National Bank of Ambler PA. It was issued on January 10, 1893 to James A Cozens and it represents 10 shares valued at $100.00 each. About one year’s salary for a skilled worker in 1893. It was sold on January 8, 1918 to W. G. Frank - signature guaranteed by the Cashier, W. A. Davis, who was also a prominent Undertaker in town.
