No Dirt Golf

On this Memorial Day, No Dirt Golf honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Because of their courage, dedication, and selflessness, we’re able to enjoy the freedoms we so often take for granted, including the simple privilege of spending a day on the golf course. Today, we remember the heroes who gave everything so we could enjoy moments like these.

Rickie Fowler didn’t win at Quail Hollow, however, it still felt like one of the biggest stories of the week.

A final-round 65 pushed him into solo second at the Truist Championship, but the reaction around golf said more than the leaderboard did. Crowds were fully back behind him. The energy felt different. And afterward, Fowler admitted the week reminded him of 2012, when confidence and contention felt normal instead of difficult to find.

For the first time in a while, he looked comfortable again under pressure.

After years of missed cuts, swing changes, ranking drops, and trying to rebuild his game publicly, this week felt less like a random high finish and more like momentum returning.
