Hi, still here doing hair after taking an 8 month hiatus from posting hair pics. 😇 Now that Utah’s getting the first snow fall of the year today, I figured it’s a perfect time to talk hair care tips for the cold/ dry winter:
➖ deep condition your hair once per week (leave on 5-15 mins)
➖ wash less (no more then 1-2 times a week)
➖ wash hair in cooler water so you don’t dry it out more
➖ use salon quality shampoo/ conditioner, & always use a leave in/ heat protectant
➖ take a collagen supplement/ or use a powder collagen. It’s an absolute game changer for the health of the hair
➖ lastly DRINK your water, & take your vitamins. Healthy hair starts from the inside out.

I’m excited to now offer ionic foot baths at my studio salon. In December I got an ionic foot bath machine & have now done 30 detoxifying sessions on myself. It’s helped my health tremendously & I’ve documented my experience along the way (to share with anyone who would like to know.)

The foot bath runs for a 30 minute cycle & ionizes the water in order to gently pull out toxins from your body. I LOVE my guests w/ a capital L. You guys are the reason I get to create magic everyday. I don’t take that for granted one bit. Which is why I’ve been putting this off for too long, but starting Mon March 15th I’ll be raising my color pricing $10 (haircut & Olaplex pricing will remain the same.)

I haven’t increased pricing for current guests in 5 years and in that time period the cost of the salon I rent, color, & foils has increased quite a bit. I’ve been working more & more to eat the cost but I can’t work more than 5 days a week, & it’s time to raise my pricing to match the growing cost of doing business! (This will not apply to any new guests from 2020 + 2021 pricing will remain the same for you.)
