Ohio's public libraries are stepping up all summer long with reading challenges, STEM activities, creative programs, technology access, and opportunities that help keep children engaged while school is out.
More than 435,000 Ohioans participated in public library summer programs in 2025. This summer, visit your local library, sign up for a library card, and see first-hand how your library can help you and your family learn and explore.

Across Ohio, libraries create opportunities for people of all ages to use their creativity to brighten someone else's day. From crafts and cards to community service projects, these small acts of kindness can make a big impact. At Upper Arlington Public Library, teens recently "Crafted for a Cause" by decorating flower pots for residents of Abbington of Arlington. 🌼
