Ok, this is amazing... We got a last minute VIP addition to the team! Not only helping with the event a a whole, we got DeX Santillan to join our panel discussion! I am extremely lucky to know Dex from another clothing swap he helped me organize for the Trans Day of Joy this Summer! Check out his bio, we can't wait to have a lively discussion about fashion as identity in the Q***r community with Dex and so many other awesome folx!

"DeX Santillan is a genderq***r, masculine of center, brown q***r who helps folks like himself with their gender journey and clothing. Matching outside appearances with internal gender identity. Focusing on trans masculine, non-binary and masculine of center folks,
he has been on a gender journey since he was a child, working in big box and independently owned masculine clothing stores over the last 20 years and with this experience he is able to help and guide others with their journey. DeX does this through confidence
building, coaching, clothing styling and sharing best practices alongside the whole way. DeX also does community outreach through clothing swaps and fashion shows. He can be reached at [email protected] to collaborate or be hired for one on one service.

Hey folks!!

Here's more information about volunteering for or working the event!

Volunteers needed Thursday September 8th from 5-8 to sort clothing and prep racks for the swap. Will have pizza during that time! Hoping to have at least 5 other folks to help but will take as many as 10 that evening! Message me to be added to the list!

Volounteers also needed during the day on Friday September 9th to decorate, load in and prep the Zeitgeist venue space from 11-5... Let me know if you want in on THIS list :)

Volunteering will involve lifting, sorting, loading and unloading a uhaul, etc.

Paid event staff - I'm still looking for 8 folks that could work either the 10-1:30 shift on the 10th OR the 1:30-5 shift that day. Pay is $15 an hour and comes with a swanky event staff lanyard :)

Paid staff will be working with ticketing, assisting vendors and activities, helping patrons, end of event cleanup and load out, etc.
