I read all of your comments yesterday, and one theme kept coming up that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about.

So many of you were told some version of “you’re not a real quilter if…”

If you don’t quilt your own quilts. If your points don’t match. If your stitches aren’t even. If you don’t hand bind.

Rockstar, I need you to hear me loud and clear:
You are a real quilter.

Full stop. No conditions. No prerequisites. No points-matching requirement.

Finished quilts are real quilts and YOU are a real quilter — however you get there.

I also want to say thank you. Thank you for showing up in the comments yesterday, for sharing stories that weren’t easy to tell, and for trusting this little corner of the internet with them.

I see you. And you’re in the right place. 🫶
