It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, Bert, following his courageous battle with cancer.

Bert generously shared his wisdom, knowledge, and experience with everyone around him, always leading with patience, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

His dedication to supporting our bilingual Spanish agents helped build a thriving and welcoming community within VPR. He was a mentor, an advocate, and a trusted leader whose influence will continue to be felt for years to come.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bert was a devoted family man. He cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren, and often spoke with pride about the time they spent together. He loved cruising with his family and creating memories with those he loved most.

Bert was the kind of leader you could always count on. He never backed down from a challenge, always stepped forward when someone needed help, and consistently put the needs of others before his own. His legacy is one of service, compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to those around him. While our hearts are saddened by this tremendous loss, we are grateful for the time we had with him and the lasting impact he made on so many lives.
