Things have been pretty quiet over here throughout 2025 but what better way to end the year then by watching today's video from our sponsor Carsandcameras! This season we dipped our toes in dirt oval go kart racing and we plan on chatting with you all more often in 2026! 🏁

It's been one heck of a time getting this thing built and race it at the new Black River Motorsports Park Kart track but it was worth it!

This wouldn't have happened without the investment from UNKS Racing & Jase Wiarda. We've talked about doing something like this for years now and we were finally able to make something happen! Having a friend be a huge part in allowing you to enjoy one of your hobbies is something I don't take lightly and will forever be in debt to for all the support. 🙏

We started off the event pretty far behind the 8 ball with it being the first time either of us had built a dirt oval flat kart. Thankfully there were some friendly competitors willing to lend some parts to get us up to speed. The green flag dropped for the feature race with us in 5th spot and started to feel the new adjustments. By the halfway point a caution came out and on the restart we were able to slide into 3rd with just a handful of laps to go.

We kept pace with the leaders and on the white flag lap coming to the checkers the kart behind drove in a little too deep in turns 3/4 causing us both to spin out and for us to settle for a 4th place finish. Almost had that podium spot!

All in all it was a great test session to see what we need to bring for the next event. We made big gains with the speed in the kart each time it hit the track, and nothing broke!
