🎵 Hello, friends! It's been a while, and I wanted to share an update. 🎵

Many of you know me through music, Kindermusik, piano lessons, and my work in early childhood education. For many years, I have had the privilege of helping children and families learn, grow, and connect through music. My journey has also included 15 years providing licensed childcare and working in outreach special education for 25 years, experiences that deepened my understanding of how important relationships, connection, movement, and creativity are in a child’s development.

Over the past several months, I've also been pursuing another passion—helping small businesses. As a business owner for more than 25 years, I've always managed my own bookkeeping and finances. I recently became an Intuit Certified QuickBooks Bookkeeping Professional, earned my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, and completed additional accounting certifications, including my Certified CAS Accounting Associate (CAA) credential. I'm excited to use these skills to help small business owners keep their books organized and gain confidence in their finances.

I'm excited to announce my new Facebook business page, ! There I'll be sharing bookkeeping tips, QuickBooks resources, and practical ideas to help busy small business owners stay organized and focus on growing their businesses.

If you own a small business, operate a family childcare program or preschool, or know someone who does, I would be grateful if you would follow my new page and share it with others who might benefit. After spending many years working alongside childcare providers and operating my own businesses, I understand the unique challenges of balancing your passion with the day-to-day responsibilities of running a business.

This page will continue to be all about music, early childhood, learning, movement, and the joy of helping children build a lifelong love of music. I look forward to sharing more ideas, activities, and updates with you here. I will be adding adult piano lesson tips for those that want to learn as well and am excited to make those dreams a reality!

Hello and checking in! It took 7 weeks to close out the childcare, declutter, donate, sell, garage sales, daycare sales, donations and more donations, curbsides, junk removal (5 times), many trips to goodwill and savers, to get to this point, cleaning and more cleaning. The house is now for sale. I am teaching Kindermusik and lessons at St. Paul’s episcopal church and ever thankful for the experiences and learning at Concordia and at Lakeview. Mr. Carlson has been very instrumental in this process and we are both thankful for all the families and friends through this whole experience. I miss the daily interactions from the childcare and am grateful I can still see families at Kindermusik and lessons. I hope to do something with my music and educational experience in the future but for now, I am practicing my patience, acceptance of the unknown, and the process.
