With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, James brings exceptional knowledge and expertise to the Dockside Insurance team.

He began his career in 1997 as an auto claims adjuster before transitioning to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), where he spent 15 years assisting homeowners, businesses, and communities recovering from catastrophic flooding across 36 states. Those experiences gave him a firsthand understanding of the challenges families face after disasters and inspired his passion for helping others protect what matters most.

Today, James is recognized for his extensive expertise in flood insurance. He holds multiple FEMA Flood Control Number (FCN) certifications covering residential, commercial, manufactured homes, and condominiums, along with licenses in property, casualty, life, health, and annuity insurance. He has also earned the Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) designation through the University of Central Florida School of Insurance.

A proud Florida native, James enjoys spending his free time outdoors. Whether he's fishing the Florida coast, boating as a licensed U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Captain, flying as an FAA-licensed private pilot, or exploring the mountains of North Carolina, he appreciates every opportunity to enjoy nature.

James is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners understand their insurance options and build coverage that protects everything they've worked so hard to achieve.
