🚨🚨 MASSIVE News in the World of Genetic CDH Research via our friends Children's Hospital of Philadelphia 🚨🚨

We're so excited to share this research paper with our community, over 5 years ago Fore Hadley Foundation started funding this incredible research at CHOP, and in March 2026, they published the paper found in the link below in the American Journal of Medical Genetics.

To sum up, their newly published study analyzing over 500 patients found that genetic factors may play a role in up to 61% of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) cases—including many previously considered “isolated.” This research highlights the complexity of CDH and the importance of continued investment in genetic discovery and innovation.

This is exactly why we fund research—to better understand CDH, improve outcomes, and ultimately bring hope to families facing it every day.

We’re so incredibly encouraged by the progress—and are planning to double down our investment to help further move the needle!!
