I once had a client inquire one of my stylists as to why we had an “LGBQT+ Owner” listed on our Google site. My stylist said she didn’t know…and the next thing I knew one of my other stylists had texted me the question, “Why does our website say a gay person owns the shop?” 🤦🏼‍♀️

The story didn’t end there, and neither did the conversation…and that’s the point. Pride month-for me- is about HAVING those hard conversations.

I will ALWAYS rather be hated for who I am and who I include…than loved for who or what I am not. 🌈🦄
