Beary Basecamp

It’s been a very rainy fall with very few breaks in between. I woke this morning to a beautiful sunny sky, highlighting all of the amazing colors this time of year. I sipped my cup of coffee on the deck and planned to head out shortly thereafter. Suddenly, and from what seemed out of nowhere, an intense thud was followed by gigantic echo. As the sky opened, droplets shone in the sun. Dark gray clouds entered, making the contrast even more impressive. The sight of rainbow colors of leaves among towering mountains capped by snow could not have been more magical. Thick droplets turned to white stones thrown from the sky. Knowing that plans would need to wait, I could not resent such a moment of beauty. I’m also so excited for what is to come. 🍁🍂🍃⛰️❄️☃️🏔️
