Our back patio is awesome for morning relaxation before the sun rises over the house around noon. We've seen turkeys, owls, deer, squirrels and even pesky gophers.

We received a bunch of snow and everything looks beautiful. The Purgatory Resort area got a couple of feet this past week so now's your time to ski. The Nordic Ski Center is just north of the resort on the opposite side of Highway 550. It's a great place to cross-country ski or snowshoe with their groomed trails. Everyone is welcome to check them out.
